Our passion for the outdoors isn’t just a way to make a living, more importantly it is what we live for! Alongside our mismatched farmyard family of dogs and goats, horses and chickens; we share each experience and adventure with gratitude and determination one day at a time!

Erik Labrie
Erik has been working in the Hunting and Outfitting industry full time since 2016. Between Guiding across Northwestern Canada for Sheep, Moose, Goat, Deer, Caribou, Wolf, Black Bear, and Grizzly to owning and operating Primal Adventures Outfitting locally in Alberta.
As a young teenager Erik realized his true passions of Hunting, Survival Training, Fishing, and many other nameless outdoor activities. Hunting specifically began to take over any and all free time.

Ryan Biggs
Ryan has been a member of the Primal Adventures team long before the name held any weight. Alongside Erik as a young adult, Ryan has enjoyed much of the same pastimes.
A former chef and restaurant owner, he now enjoys the life of a commercial fisherman and hunting guide, Ryan spends majority of each year outdoors doing what he loves.
Around camp you’ll find Ryan playing many different roles, he’s always up and moving. Whether it be cooking dinner, prepping lunch, cutting firewood, cleaning up, or hauling and caring for meat and trophies.
Our clients and the rest of our team are always thankful when Ryan is around to lend a hand, whatever the task may be!
Katey Labrie
For every good Outfit, there is a great woman keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Katey is no exception to that statement!
Growing up on a farm in Northern Alberta, Katey is no stranger to hard work, discomfort, or constantly changing scenarios. She possesses grit and high standards that keep our team in line and working hard.
Katey has worked for several years in the industry, both alongside Erik and apart. She has a deep understanding of how a hunting outfit is operated from both the front line and the office.
During a week long hunt with us, you may catch a glimpse of Katey coming to and from camp in the wee hours. If you’re really lucky she may even cook a meal or two for you. Otherwise you can trust that she is taking care of all the imperative details behind the scenes!
